There was a gaping hole in the Finnish fast food culture for BBQ, and Miller's BBQ was founded in 2021 to quench this thirst Miller's was founded with the same mentality that we smoke our products - long and slow without compromising quality. We smoked hundreds of pounds of meat, took a field trip to the BBQ mecca of Texas, and only opened our restaurant doors when we could truly stand behind our food. Come, taste, and tell us how we did.
FROM FINLAND WITH LOVE
Miller's BBQ is run by the entrepreneurial trio of Aki Kinnunen, Silvar Jänes and Antti Kemppi. Aki and Silvar have worked together for years in a kitchen cooking everything from fine dining to sandwiches. Antti is an experienced home cook and the father of the BBQ restaurant idea. Together, they set out to build a BBQ culture in Finland in a bold, big way, as is the Yankee way.

FAQ
Table reservations?
Groups of more than 8 people can make a reservation in advance by e-mail or by phone. We serve all meals ordered at the counter, directly from the chef to the customer. We have found this to be the most convenient way to serve larger parties.
Dogs?
Dogs are more than welcome to visit us!
Accessibility
Our restaurant is accessible. However, please note that parking is not possible in the immediate vicinity of the door.
What about kids?
We are a restaurant for the whole family and have a special children’s menu for children.
Gluten-free?
We use Worcestershire sauce, which contains wheat and soya, to prepare the meat. The sauce is still gluten-free due to the manufacturing process. For more information on the allergens in our dishes, please check the menu and ask our staff.
Vegetarians?
While we love meat, we also have vegetarian and vegan options on our menu.

What is Miller’s BBQ?
Miller’s BBQ is located in Hämeenlinna, in the historic Kruununmylly, on the grounds of Katinen Manor. The building, dating back to 1866, provides the perfect setting for crafting excellent food, slow-cooked over smoke. At the heart of Miller’s lies an authentic smoke grill, where meat tenderized by hours of smoke becomes juicy and unforgettable in flavor. When BBQ is prepared s-l-o-w-l-y, great things happen: the meat becomes tender and juicy while absorbing just the right amount of smoky taste.

Order or pick up BBQ meals for larger groups from us. Delivery and on-site chef services are also available! Come to our restaurant by car, on foot, on bike or even on a pony. Our parking lot is located right at the beginning of Vanajanlinnantie. Follow our signs! You can also get here safely by bike or on foot using the light traffic routes. We are barrier-free.
If the car park next to the restaurant is full, you can find more parking space on Iso-Harvoilantie.
